Choose between any of the summery tropical flavours listed – Watermelon, Pineapple, Black Currant, or Passionfruit – or get creative and pick your own!
Hard Seltzer Recipe
Ingredients
Can Sugar Syrup
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Hard Seltzer
- 1/2 cup soda water
- 1/2-1 oz vodka optional
- 1 1/2 tsp cane sugar syrup
- 10-15 drops Hedessent flavour of choice Soo's picks: Watermelon, Kenyan Pineapple, Black Currant, Passionfruit, Mango or Green Mango
Instructions
How to Make Cane Sugar Syrup
- Cane Sugar Syrup: Boil cane sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Let cool.
How to make your own Hard Seltzer
- Fill a tall glass with ice; top with soda water, vodka (optional), cane sugar syrup, and 10-15 drops Hedessent Flavour of choice. Garnish with fruit if you choose.

Flavour Tip:
Cane sugar, a blond sugar variant made from sugar cane, is clean tasting, with a depth of flavour over granulated sugar and compliments seltzers without overpowering them.
