Apple Crisp Mule
Equipment
- Shaker Set or Mason Jar
- Jigger or Tablespoon
- Strainer
- Knife + Cutting board
- Hand Juicer
- Mule Mug or Rocks Glass
- Bottle Opener
Ingredients
- 3 oz ginger beer
- 2 oz buttered rum* or spiced rum - See instructions below for Buttered Rum
- 1.5 oz cloudy apple juice
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 5 drops Hedessent Graham Crust
- 5 drops Hedessent Apple Pie
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, excluding the ginger beer, into a shaker tin or mason jar. Add ice and vigorously shake for 10 seconds. Strain over fresh ice into a mule
How to Make Buttered Rum
- Pour 250ml of Spiced Rum into a mason jar. Add 60ml of melted butter to mason jar. Seal mason jar tight and vigorously shake for 10 seconds. Let the mix sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Within those 30 minutes, shake the jar two more times. After the 30 minutes, place mix into the freezer for 2 hours.
- Once the butter has solidified, strain the mix through a coffee filter or paper towel. Store in a clean jar and keep refrigerated.
