Looking for the perfect way to beat the summer heat? Then you’ve got to try these fun and flavourful Sour Candy Ice Pops!
These delightful treats by Evolving Autumn bring back memories of childhood with every icy bite, all while being free from excessive sugars and dyes typically found in store-bought popsicles. Plus, you can whip them up in no time!
Created with just a handful of ingredients, our Sour Candy Ice Pops are as simple to make as they are delicious. Start by combining carbonated water, a touch of honey or maple syrup for sweetness, a pinch of salt for balance, and your favorite Hedessent Flavour Drops. For this recipe, Autumn used Mandarin Orange for zesty citrus notes, Juicy Blueberry for a burst of berry goodness, and Sour Wizard for that nostalgic sour kick.
For an extra burst of texture, you can add sliced fruit like kiwi or berries to the mix before freezing—but that’s totally up to you. Once your popsicle molds are filled, allow them to set in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight. The result? A batch of icy treats that are perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day or enjoying as a guilt-free dessert.
