- 4 oz unflavoured tonic water
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup see recipe for instructions
- 4 drops Hedessent Sour Wizard
- 4 drops Hedessent Mandarin Orange Flavour Drops
- 3 drops Hedessent Coffee Espresso Flavour Drops
- 5 – 6 fresh cherries
- 2 – 3 mid-sized fresh basil leaves
- Ice
Instructions
- Prepare the 1:2 Simple Syrup: Mix 1 part sugar with 2 parts warm water. Shake vigorously until the sugar dissolves completely. Refrigerate in a glass jar for extended use.
- Muddle the Cherries: Pit the cherries and add them to a cocktail shaker with the basil leaves. Muddle thoroughly to release as much juice as possible.
- Mix the Drink: Add the three flavour drops, simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice to the shaker. Shake well for 5–6 seconds until the ice begins to melt, which helps dilute the cherry juice.
