For this version, we went all out and used four savoury flavours: Jalapeño, Aromatic Herb, Garlic, and a touch of Chili Hot. But honestly, you can mix and match whatever combination suits your taste. This recipe is as much about showing how easy it is to create your own savoury blend as it is about making a great appetizer for friends or for yourself whenever you want.
Want more herb? Go for it. Prefer a little more heat? Add a few extra drops of Chili Hot. Need a softer garlic note? Easy. Because when you’re working with flavour drops, adjusting ratios is simple, clean, and precise.

Jalapeño Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups cream cheese softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 6 drops Jalapeño Flavour Drops adjust to preference
- 8-10 drops Garlic Flavour Drops adjust to preference
- 3 drops Chili Hot Flavour Drops adjust to desired heat
- 3 drops Aromatic Herbs Flavour
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Coating
- ½ cup crushed pretzels
- 2-3 tbsp paprika
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, lemon juice and salt.
- Add all flavour drops and mix well until fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into a ball.
- Roll the cheese ball in crushed pretzels or paprika to coat, adding crunch or colour.
- Chill for 15 minutes before serving with crackers and/or veggies.
