Matcha Oat Squares

A Simple No-Bake Snack

Servings 12 to 24 squares

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup white chocolate optional
  • 2 ½ tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 20 drops drops Matcha Tea in the bar
  • 10 drops drops Classic Vanilla in the bar
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and coconut oil in a bowl and microwave on low for 15 to 20 seconds. Stir until everything is melted and blended. Microwave for 10 more seconds if needed.
  • Add Matcha Flavour to the wet mixture.
  • In a separate large bowl, mix in oats and salt.
  • Pour in wet mixture and mix until well incorporated. Add a tbsp of water if it looks dry.
  • Line a pan with parchment paper. Press mixture down into pan firmly until mixture becomes solid. Use the bottom of a measuring cup for a flatter press.
  • Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave (Feel free to add a few drops of flavour to the chocolate if you so choose)
  • Drizzle chocolate on top of squares and let cool until chocolate firms. Enjoy.

Optional

  • Sift a light dusting of matcha powder on top for a beautiful finishing touch.
