Ultra-Easy Lemon Yuzu Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp Hedessent Classic Vanilla Flavour Drops
  • 1/4 tsp Hedessent Yuzu Flavour Drops for added depth optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add yogurt, oil, lemon juice, zest, Vanilla flavour, and Yuzu (if using). Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just combined — do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool completely before glazing.
