Peach Almond Sour

Ingredients

Tea Infusion

  • 2 cups boiled water
  • 1/4 cup Ceylon black tea
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Flavour Drops

Peach Almond Sour Cocktail

  • 2 oz tea infusion *see recipe
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz egg white
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • 30 drops Hedessent Almond Flavour Drops
  • 25 drops Hedessent Peach Flavour Drops

Garnish

  • Sliced Peaches and Cherries (optional)

Instructions

Tea Infusion

  • Toast tea leaves on a baking tray at 300°F for 25 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add tea leaves to a heat-safe container and steep tea with boiled water for 30 minutes.
  • Strain using a fine mesh sieve and discard tea leaves. Allow tea to fully cool.
  • Add cider vinegar and Vanilla Bourbon to cooled tea. Stir.

Almond Peach Sour:

  • To a cocktail shaker, add egg white and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 5 seconds.
  • Add more ice, tea, lemon juice, and Hedessent flavours. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
  • Strain mocktail into a Nick and Nora-style coupe glass. Garnish with peach slices and a luxardo cherry.
