Fruit Cake Topper

- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup dried currents
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mixed orange and lemon peel, chopped
- 1/4 cup candied pineapple
- 1/4 cup candied cherries
- 2 oz dark rum
- 30 drops Hedessent Clover
- 40 drops Hedessent Apple Cider
- 30 drops Hedessent Ginger
- 10 drops Hedessent Vanilla Bourbon
- 15 drops Hedessent Cinnamon
In a large pot over medium heat, add all ingredients except the pecans. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the topping becomes fragrant.
Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
Serve warm over fresh burrata cheese with toasted crostini.
