Hard Seltzer Recipe

Ingredients

Can Sugar Syrup

  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Hard Seltzer

  • 1/2 cup soda water
  • 1/2-1 oz vodka optional
  • 1 1/2 tsp cane sugar syrup
  • 10-15 drops Hedessent flavour of choice Soo's picks: Watermelon, Kenyan Pineapple, Black Currant, Passionfruit, Mango or Green Mango

Instructions

How to Make Cane Sugar Syrup

  • Cane Sugar Syrup: Boil cane sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Let cool.

How to make your own Hard Seltzer

  • Fill a tall glass with ice; top with soda water, vodka (optional), cane sugar syrup, and 10-15 drops Hedessent Flavour of choice. Garnish with fruit if you choose.

Notes

Flavour Tip:
Cane sugar, a blond sugar variant made from sugar cane, is clean tasting, with a depth of flavour over granulated sugar and compliments seltzers without overpowering them.
